Emeriti Representatives

Aim: to serve as liaisons regarding critical issues among retired faculty, departments, and the Office of Faculty Equity and Welfare. They carry out this role by:

• Informing their department about resources of importance to retired faculty (e.g., healthcare benefits). 
• Meeting regularly with department chairs or deans to consider and discuss concerns of late-career faculty or emeriti 
• Advocating for developing pathways for emeriti to contribute to teaching, learning, and community service. 
• Serving on a committee of 30+ Emeriti Representatives and meeting twice a year,  in the Fall and Spring semester.

• Access to Retirement Center staff for questions and referrals.
