UCBEA is proud to announce our Emerita of the Year for 2019, Professor Emerita Louise George Clubb, Professor of Italian Studies and Comparative Literature.
Professor Clubb, already lauded for her work, her educator prowess and her service while an “active” faculty member, continues her activity on campus and throughout the world since her 1995 “retirement.” Her teaching, her research, her service, her participation in the scholarly and education community have continued unabated, both here at Berkeley and across the country and the world. She is an inspiration to those of us who are active faculty and retired faculty. Her energy motivates us all to stay engaged in those activities that keep the mind alive. Join us in a celebration and congratulation for this award on October 3rd, 4-6 pm at the Women’s Faculty Club.
