OUR EMERITI SURVEY DEADLINE EXTENDED TO NOVEMBER 20TH AT 5 PM
For those of you who have not yet completed the survey, please do. It takes only a few minutes.
Emeriti continue to contribute enormously to our campus. For example, here’s what we learned from the 2012 – 2015 survey:
- 41% offered service to campus departments
- 61% served in an informal role as mentor
- 36% were involved in a formal mentoring program
- 24% continued to teach graduate and undergraduate courses.
- 75% published one or more journal articles.
- 36% published one or more books.
And, past surveys have been invaluable tools for advocating for our emeriti (e.g. privileges, health insurance, parking).
