Making a lasting impact
The Retirement Center receives its core funds from the campus with support from LBNL and UCOP. Each year our retirees provide financial support that fills the gap between institutional funding and programmatic needs. This support has a very real impact on our ability to offer a range of high caliber programs and services that build connections among our retired faculty, staff and their families.
The UC Berkeley Retirement Center Funds:
- Annual Fund, where the current need is the greatest, helps us to maintain and grow our programs.
- Endowment Fund helps to sustain us in perpetuity.
- Emeriti Association Fund supports programming, advocacy, research, and mentoring for emeriti in collaboration with the UCB Emeriti Association.
- Gravitz Internship on Aging Fund supports student internships working with retirees. To read about the life on contributions of Ronni Gravitz, for whom the fund is named, read more here.
