About the UCBRC Book Club
If you are a UC Berkeley retiree and are passionate about books, interested in history, and enjoy stimulating discussions, you are invited to join the UCB Retirement Center Book Club. The Club was started in 2007 by Robert Middlekauff, Professor Emeritus in the UCB History Department.

Member-Run: The club is organized and hosted by its members.

Rotating Book Selection: Book choices will be decided on a rotating basis by the members themselves, allowing for a diverse range of topics and voices. Please note that the focus of this book club is history, and so book choices focus on historical topics.

Zoom Meetings: The book club meetings will take place on Zoom to be inclusive of retirees who do not live locally or have mobility issues.
