Learn, Live, and Thrive in Community

Our Goals

  • Connect graduate students and retirees for an affordable housing option

  • Support retirees planning to age in place

  • Build intergenerational relationships through interdependence

 What We Do

We connect UC retiree homeowners with a spare bedroom to UC Berkeley graduate students, Postdocs, and Visiting Scholars looking for affordable housing. Our education, resources, and support empower participants to find a living situation that works for them.

In our workshops you will learn about home sharing best practices, reflect on your expectations, explore tools and resources, and meet current participants

Home Match

When you join, you can connect with potential matches, get in-person and over the phone support, and try our home sharing tools and resources
