This year's Open Enrollment period began at 8:00 am on Thursday, October 28, 2021 and will end at 5:00 pm on Friday, November 19, 2021, Pacific Time. Visit the UC Open Enrollment website for more information.
The Open Enrollment Virtual Benefits Fair runs from Wednesday, November 10th through 5pm pacific time on Friday, November 19th. The Virtual Benefits Fair is the opportunity for employees and retirees to learn more about the health and welfare plans offered by UC. Health Plan providers will have scheduled online presentations of upcoming plan changes, be available for live chats, and answer employee and retiree questions.
To attend the fair and the info sessions taking place on Noevmebr 10th, there is a two-step registration process. You will need to register for the fair, and then also register for the Whova platform (creating a username and password) before entering the fair.
Registration Instructions
- Click here to navigate to the Attendee Registration page
- Select one ticket and hit Next.
- Enter your name and email
- Scroll down to enter name and email again, answer the questions asked about your affiliation and attendance status (UCB, Employee/Faculty / Retiree, etc)
- If you want to see a list of the attendees, select yes or no, and hit Next.
- You should see your ticket confirmation on the web page and via email.
- Open your confirmation email then click the DESK APP if you will be viewing from your computer. Click MOBILE APP if viewing from a cell phone.
- Now you should see the UCB OE fair - and will need to set up a Whova account by clicking on "Sign up here"
- After creating your account, bypass the "beef up your profile" steps by scrolling to the bottom and hit Continue.
- You will then see the Homepage. On the left hand side you should see the Agenda. Open and select what session you want to view. Hit "view session", then hit the blue "join session".
