Frequently Asked Question: The below information may help answer your question.

How do I request a simple hardware token for 2-step authentication?

You can request the token by emailing us and confirming your mailing address. When we return in early January we will resume mailing out hardware tokens. In the meantime, the "call me" login method will continue to work through January 11th. You can also download back up login codes by going to your CalNet Account Manager and following these instructions.

How do I reset my Berkeley email password?

If you are getting an "Invalid Credentials" error message when you try and login to your Berkeley email, that means that you are entering in an invalid user ID or password. To reset your password, follow these instructions. You will need to know your UC Path ID. If you do not know it, you will need to wait for us to return in early January to help you. You will also need to have a recovery email set up in the system. If you do not have one set up, you will need to wait for us to return in early January to help you.

How do I pay my Berkeley email annual renewal?

If you received an email from us that your annual renewal is due for your Berkeley email, you can pay online by credit card by following these instructions. Or you can mail a check, made out to UC Regents, to the UC Berkeley Retirement Center at 101 University Hall, Berkeley, CA 94720. Please know that we will not be processing payments until we return in January. However this will not impact your Berkeley email service. All Berkeley emails will remain active through the winter holiday break.
